The Sitting Room
In the very back of the Riverside Rest a large, dark room. This room is mostly used for storage, but behind the boxes of doll containers, crates of Christmas decorations, and shelves of stray towels and wrapping paper rolls is a small space. Crates contain notebooks, comics, and journals. This is where my favorite interests find a home, from "Perfect Strangers"' kooky cousins, to "Sailor Moon"'s sweet heroines, to those madcap 60s rockers The Monkees.
Take a seat on the frayed carpet, pull up a notebook, and enjoy familiar interests from new points of view...or old stories told with new characters...
